At the Lantern Resort, we offer a full range of recreational facilities and daily activities. Join us for hayrides, campfire songs, and make your own s’mores! Children will also enjoy our large playground where they can join the fun games we have planned such as Candy Bar Bingo, Arts & Crafts, and our Hoola-Hoop Contest!
Before the kids get tucked in, Miss Sleepytime will read them a bedtime story to help them drift off before another fun-filled day at the Lantern Resort! Bring the whole family to join in the great events we have planned for 2015! There are no age limitations so that everyone can participate in all the fun!

SUPER HEROES' WEEKEND: JUNE 19–20
Calling all Super Heroes! It is time to dress up and join forces in a scavenger race to rescue Miss Sleepytime. She needs your help on Friday night. We will celebrate after with Super Duper S''mores around the campfire circle. On Saturday night all Super Heroes are called to test their skills in the first Super Hero Olympics. AMERICAN PRIDE: JULY 3–4
We are proud to be Americans, and want everyone to show it! Win a free night of camping by having the most creatively decorated campsite. Patriotism is the theme. Judging will be the evening of July 4. All activities will have a patriotic twist. There will be a taps musical review. Please bring your own instrument. For more details, click here.
CHRISTMAS IN JULY: JULY 10–11
Tis the season to be jolly! Mrs. Claus will start the weekend off by joining you on a haywagon ride around the campground. This will be your chance to show off your festive site, for there will be a judging Saturday night as to who has the best Christmas decorations in the campground. The prize will be a gift certificate for a free night of camping. In the Christmas spirit, please bring a $5.00 gift to exchange at our Yankee Swap. To close the weekend off, Mrs. Claus will join the children in a campfire sing-a-long. For more details click here.
LUAU: JULY 17–18
Aloha! Join us for a Hawaiian vacation! Have fun creating your own grass skirt and even learn how to hula dance with your family! A Hawaiian potluck will be served, so don't forget to bring your favorite dish. We will dance the rest of the night away with our favorite DJ, John Jaworowski. For more details click here.
PIRATE WEEK-END: JULY 24–25
Ahoy Mateys! Join us for a fun week-end of high seas adventures. On Friday, create your own Jolly Roger pirate flag to help decorate your campsite. Then gather around the campfire to swap stories and maybe even a sea shanty or two. Put on your best eye patch and join us for a Pirate Parade on Saturday, followed by a treasure hunt and Pirate games.Then join us for Candy Barrrr Bingo. Whether you're a landlubber or a seasoned swashbuckler, good times and plenty of laughs will be had by all.
HALLOWEEN: AUGUST 7–8, 14-15
Trick or treating in August? Only at the Lantern Resort! Have fun decorating your campsite, and be prepared for scary little campers saying "trick-or-treat." There will be prizes for the most creative site, and scariest costume. We will also be making Halloween crafts; this could get very messy! There will be spooky ghost stories told around the campfire circle. Lastly, Halloween isn't complete without a walk through the "Dead Woods." For more details click here.
EASTER WEEKEND: AUGUST 21–22
Bring your most creative Easter hat and join us in a parade. There will be an egg-decorating contest, an Easter egg hunt, an egg toss, and an all-out search for the mysterious Easter Bunny. For more details click here.
FALL FESTIVAL: SEPTEMBER 4 & 5, 11 & 12, 18 & 19, 25 & 26
Join Miss Appleseed and learn about some of New Hampshire's traditions. Have fun participating in arts n' crafts projects while making your own delicious carmel apple! A yummy time will be had by all! For more details click here.
PUMPKIN FESTIVAL: OCTOBER 9–11
There is frost on the pumpkin and this is a sure sign that it is time to play! We will start out the weekend in search of that perfect pumpkin. Pick a good one, and get ready for pumpkin bowling! Join us to see what else we can do with Mr. Jack O'Lantern. For more details click here.
